ST. LOUIS (February 19, 2019) Bull Moose Tube, a leading manufacturer of steel pipe and tube, announced a change in leadership of its sales team. The company announced the hiring of Jeff Strobach as its new vice president of sales and Eric Hickert as its new director of sales/distribution. The new hires were made following recent retirements on the leadership of the company’s sales team.

As vice president of sales for Bull Moose Tube and Bull Moose Engineering, Strobach is responsible for the commercial strategy and leadership of the 40-members sales team. Joining the company in 2018, he leads the company’s efforts in the area of sales leadership coaching, strategic account/market development and distribution-strategy design. Strobach has served in similar roles at other manufacturing companies, including Barry-Wehmiller (a global supplier of manufacturing technology and services), Duke Manufacturing and SLP (a division of Kohler Enterprises).

Hired in January 2019 as director of sales – distribution for Bull Moose Tube, Hickert is responsible for managing and facilitating distributor rebate programs; calling on key distributors; coaching, mentoring and training new and existing employees; and overseeing the company’s field-sales staff. Hickert is a manufacturing-industry veteran with extensive experience in developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans to expand market share and drive sales growth for companies including Ventura, California-based SloanLED and General Electric Lighting (in its Cleveland and Toronto regions).
